Welll.. I'm somewhat disappointed.

It seems that most places are sold out because the retailers, websites, etc, simply didn't buy enough copies for people to buy it, so hence it gets to Number 15.

If the proper marketing tactics were used, with posters, cardboard cut-outs, etc in shops, then Billy would have AT LEAST made it in the Top 10.

Also... the fact that it is being sold at full CD price, (ie around £12.99), means that some people may opt for a cheaper album.

For example, this week's Number One album by ADELE, was being sold for £8.99.... a clever marketing ploy by her record company.

This, along with all the predictions that she would be Number One, guaranteed it for her.

It's such an easy game, yet again, Billy is not fully supported by the record business.

At least his fans got him in the Top 15.... The first time since 1963! Well done everyone!!

The pre-orders of this week should signify that their is DEMAND for the CD so I hope it will climb into the Top 10 next week.... but tell your friends and buy extra copies for birthday presents this year!!

Thanks!
Pierre

Still advertising because retailers are not buying enough stock... probably because the demand for it is not there... so get into the supermarkets, etc and ASK for it!!

I wonder where in the charts it would be if the retailers had bought more stock ... xxx
