I`ve just read a book ( a fiction ) called Christmas Past by Glenice Crosland in which she says " Billy Fury was playing on the radio " no mention of any song

Nice he got a mention. Maybe you could write to the author and check and/or complain

I was pleased to see Billy get a mention ; it`s usually C R or E P. They`re the ones I feel like complaining about !!!!!

If anyone fancies a punt.

This brought back memories of Ingar Knudtsen, a successful Norwegian author, who is a BIG Billy Fury fan. (We featured his daughter Toini on the Without You double album)

Now if only one of his books could be filmed, BBC4 would probably show it with sub-titles at 9pm on Sunday.

I'm getting carried away, aren't I?

Just because I'm paranoid, it doesn't mean they're NOT all out to get me.

I`m currently reading " Red Sky in the Morning " by Margaret Dickinson, a Lincolnshire author and Billy is mentioned. She writes that he was appearing in a show at Lincoln and describes him as being very good looking !!

Definitely

Actually there`s a bit more than just a mention; the cinema where the show was held features as part of the story !!
