This is for ladies only, because if you are a bloke you will ignore it anyway!
Do you know that approx. 70% of males over the age of 60 suffer from prostate problems?
In the 51 – 60 age bracket the figure is 40%
However, men are not used to having their private bits examined and it is estimated that only between 25 – 50% of men actually consult their GP about it.
Prostate cancer is the most common cancer in men – it affects one in fourteen men.
If caught early, the cancer is easily treatable.
It must be stressed that not all prostate problems are malignant, but unless the condition is checked out – how will you know?
So ladies, because men are stupid & stubborn (just like me) and live by the rule of “it will never happen to me” it is up to you to watch out for those little tell tale signs.
If it is taking your hubby/brother/son/partner longer than usual when they go to the gents, or if he is going more frequently - then nag him/bully him/threaten him/tie him up if necessary and drag him to your GP for a quick check out – you could be saving his life!
