Sorry, Moya, I've only just come across this.

Don't worry about it. In fact, you'll probably find that defragmenting makes little or no difference. :???:

Moya, you really need to get someone knowledgeable to look at it.

There might be a dozen programs that shouldn't be there, chuntering away and slowing down processing.

Or maybe you are short of memory.

Or......????

There's a heap of icony thingys on the main page that I don't use that the ex left on here. Should I send them to the recycle bin? I need all the help I can get here!

It would tidy your desktop, but it wouldn't achieve much of practical benefit. Most of them will be shortcuts to programs on the computer, and the programs will still be there.

You need someone knowledgeable to look at it.

What a GREAT idea Alan :razz: I'm sure Katie and me would be able to put the world to rights on a nice holiday to NZ to see Moya or at least have a few wines and ciggy's :razz: :razz: (no ciggy's for Katie though) mind you katie would probably start smoking being with Moya & me :lol: :lol: :lol: ... xxx
