Thanks for the welcome Cathy. I have actually just rejoined but hadn't posted much in the past and certainly not for a long time.

Yes I have 6 grandchildren, one each year since 2001 :)

Was a fan of Billys in my early/mid teens but never got to see him live - just hugged the old wireless every evening, tuned into radio Luxembourg waiting to hear him! :D

I'm a big fan of ice hockey and follow the Nottingham Panthers, my local team, in the top league in the country. Have travelled all over the country to support them and also to France. I also support the GB team and went to Hungary last year to support them. Its a great social sport and I have made lots of friends since becoming a fan about 8 years ago.

I wont bore you anymore by going on about my love of the sport but thanks again for the welcome. :)

Hi Jean & Cathy & everyone else,

I have been very busy working with John Leyton on the new album and we are launching a new record company too. What with that and teaching the guitar all day it has been a hectic year!

I will post under artists announcements details of the new CD due 4 September and other news too. I will be back on Radio Caroline on Tuesday 26 September at 6.00pm. Hoper you can all tune in.

Take care now.

You are a great lot.

Cheers

Welcome Gwen - I see you live in Nottingham. You'll have to go and see Our David at one of his gigs round that area.

Have a squizz at his website www.davidbroadley.co.uk and look at his gig list! You won't be disappointed. Luv M x

Hi I finally managed to get on to this great forum

Postby bruceseaton » Mon Sep 11, 2006 9:58 pm

Hi everyone my name is Bruce Seaton and it is a pleasure to be here and having read through a lot of the posts and features am sure I will enjoy being here.
Thanks to Moya for inviting me to join the group and I look forward to talking to her in the future.
I live in Colchester in the UK and have always been a fan of billy fury,I am also a devoted Elvis fan but Billy certainly outshone all other rock n roll singers from Britain.
It was such a sad day for music ,again like elvis when we lost Billy at the age of 42,but he will always be remembered by us all.

Hi Bruce,
I have been listening to you on your site. You are very good. I grew up with Elvis in the house as my sister was and still is a huge fan. I am sure Moya will persuade you to do some Billy for us.
Love Linda C
:D :D
Don't look back and worry about the past because it's gone. Don't worry about the future as it hasn't come yet. Just live in the present and make it so beautiful it will be worth remembering.
