Written after the writer lost her beloved horse

TRIBUTE TO BELLA (Posh name Kimberley Way)

Farewell dearest Bella, we'll miss you so much
kind hearted your nature so gentle to touch
but for that head collar you'll not easily yield
A flick of the mane and you're off down the field
but soon time for bed and a tug on the hay
It's raining tomorrow the weather men say
"Hey Bella come out to play" the others will cry
But Bella's not silly she'll stay in the dry
Now it's show day against all commers we will win
So fast and so brave and you never gave in
Then on to the lorry, that's easy with you
With trophies and rosettes you won more than a few
Nowadays it's easier to go for a walk
So mother and daughter can have a good talk
Bella, honest and faithful right through to the end
It takes many things to make such a friend
With show days all over what more can one say
God bless and we thank you our Kimberley Way.
