Just so that you hear the news from me...

1  It was announced on Tuesday that the Sunnyside is being sold to a developer, who is planning to use the site for housing.

2  I was told that night that it would close as a pub on March 6, when the staff would lose their jobs, and that we could therefore not hold our event there.

3  Thanks to an appeal by me in the local newspaper today and a piece of initiative by Kevin, I have a choice of FOUR excellent venues, so the show definitely goes on. I am travelling to Northampton tomorrow (Friday) with Vince Eager to check out all of the venues and make a choice.

4 I suggest that on the Saturday afternoon or Sunday morning, we visit the Sunnyside site to say farewell.
